Celebrating Freedom
The best way to celebrate yourself and your journey is to simply enjoy it. Over the past ten days I’ve been blogging on the topic of freedom. It’s been challenging to step out of my comfort zone in the way that I express myself and it has also been very exciting and rewarding to create something new every day. I celebrate the fact that I have followed through with this commitment to express myself.
Take pride in how far you’ve come. Have faith in how far you can go. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey. ~Michael Josephson
What I’ve enjoyed most about this Freedom Blog Series is finding my own sense of purpose and power through being authentic and vulnerable. I’ve shared many personal stories and I’ve found that sharing brings others in closer and makes them feel welcome. I’ve met new people who have also been blogging about freedom and I’ve heard from many readers that my stories and tips have been uplifting.
My favorite day of this Freedom Blog Series has been Day 2 entitled Discovering Your Why. I believe that passion fuels our lives and to know that we are all allowed to choose anything at all to believe in and pursue is completely inspiring to me. If we all gave ourselves this freedom just imagine all the greatness that could be achieved in this world. If you haven’t read the post on Discovering Your Why I suggest you do, because it could mean the difference between living a life of mediocrity and feeling alive and thriving in life.
You and Your Dreams Belong Together
My biggest takeaway from writing this series has been to never give up. Never let go of your dreams and keep pursuing those things in life that light you up, make you feel alive and push you to become a better version of yourself.
Take the Next Step Before You are Ready
One thing is for sure – to achieve your dreams and live with true freedom you must step outside of your comfort zone. Your mind, your family and some of your friends may try to stop you. This is not because they don’t want you to be happy. It’s because they want you to stay safe.
But as Tony Robbins tells us “The quality of your life is in direct proportion to the amount of uncertainty you can comfortably deal with.” Nothing is certain in life. Can you go out anyway and follow your dreams?
This topic of uncertainty will be the topic of my next blog series in my journey to raise consciousness and help people find happiness, live in greatness and find the place they truly belong.
